Pirates on a Phantom Planet with a Bat

Pirates on a Phantom Planet with a Bat

Saturday 28th March 2026
10am-4pm
Victoria Hall, Crewkerne

Join together as a Symphony Orchestra to play through the scores of Strauss' Die Fledermaus, Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom of the Opera  and Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity in the historical Somerset town of Crewkerne.

Tom will lead the ensemble through these timeless classics in this  fantastic opportunity to bring like-minded musicians together in symphonic proportions.

The day will consist of rehearsals, culminating in an informal performance which will raise money for a local charity

For the best enjoyment, we recommend a playing standard of Grade 7 or above, but this is purely a guide and if you're unsure please get in touch. Observers are more than welcome.

Held in the beautiful Victoria Hall in Market Square, the Come and Play Day is easily accessible by car and train/bus and there are local amenities aplenty.

The fee for the day is just £10 per person, or £5 for students, which covers costs; this is a not-for-profit event. Click here to apply:
